St Bridget’s is a warm and welcoming community where every child and family is known. The community of St Bridget’s is an extension of my own family and I feel a sense of belonging and connectedness. As Principal I feel privileged to lead this school and I’m excited about our future. Outside of school I enjoy walking to keep fit and spending quality time with my family and friends.

Christine Jamieson

Administration/Office Manager

I love working at St. Bridget’s Primary school because of our unique boutique size, culture, caring staff and strong community which forms our vibrant working environment, led by a strong and engaging Principal. My role is interesting, rewarding and challenging but provides me with satisfaction. Students are encouraged to show respect, tolerance and compassion and to be Strong and Courageous, which is our school motto.
Students over all year levels are involved in Art, Italian, Music, PE,
swimming programs and carnivals, various sporting programs, choir, instrumental lessons, lunchtime chess and STEM program. Apart from teaching provided in class, the variety of activities offered to our students is wide.
I love being with my family and friends and playing tennis.

I absolutely love working at St Bridget’s. I have taught here for the last 13 years and my children all attended school here. We have a beautiful welcoming community that cares for each other like a big family. The big grounds, the chickens, the guide dog and the lizard give it a warm country like feel. On the weekends I love spending quality time with my friends and family.

Middle Learning Community and Visual Arts Teacher

I love the warm community feel that comes with working in a small school like St Bridget’s. It’s a special thing to be able to get to know all students so well as it develops strong relationships between teacher and student, as well as fostering school and home partnerships. When I’m not teaching I love to read and engage in creative activities, such as painting.

Tom Brophy

Senior Learning Community Teacher

Hi I am Tom. 2020 is my second year at St. Bridget’s. I love teaching the Senior students because of the conversations we have and the great activities we do. There is always something new to learn. Watching the students you have taught over the year graduate is always such a special event to be a part of.
In my spare time I see a lot of movies and read a lot of books.

Health and Physical Education Teacher

I love the staff, students and community’s willingness to put up their hands and help each other out whenever required.

Outside of school I love spending time with my family, my 3 young children, husband and dog.

Jonathan Bode

Music Teacher

I love the size of the school. With a smaller number of students you really get to know them. The staff is a close knit group. It feels like a country school in the middle of the city.
